The present invention relates to an operating unit for an injection molding machine with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and an injection molding machine with such a control unit.
For some time, it has been standard to equip the operating units of injection molding machines with touch-sensitive screens. As an example, the applicant's own, not previously published Austrian patent application with the file number A 851/2011 called. Although the operation using a touch-sensitive screen offers obvious advantages, the embodiment disclosed in the above patent application is in need of improvement. Since the space on the touch-sensitive screen is limited, in the above-mentioned application, the menu control buttons are arranged outside the screen separately. Smooth operation is made more difficult by always having to search for the right button and not intuitively guiding the operator to his destination, as would be possible with menu navigation using a touch screen. The obvious measure, the buttons for the menu just to integrate on the touch-sensitive screen is not effective, because of space reasons, a high error rate would arise.
The object of the invention is to provide an operating unit for an injection molding machine, which allows a liquid and above all error-free operation of the injection molding machine.
This object is achieved by an operating unit having the features of claim 1.
This is done by arranging groups of control panels whose actuation from the control or regulating device on injection molding machine elements emit operating signals, as well as groups of navigation fields which serve for navigation within the operating program, so that there are always passive areas between them. In order to achieve a good compromise between space utilization and error prevention, it can be provided that the at least one passive field, if it is in the form of a line, has a height of at least 0.5 cm, preferably at least 1 cm, and / or at least one field, when in the form of a column, has a width of at least 0.5 cm, preferably at least 1 cm.
Furthermore, an embodiment is preferred in which at least one navigation field is arranged on at least two different sides of the operating program in a same position, since this is conducive to the liquid operation of the injection molding machine.
Protection is still desired for an injection molding machine with an operating unit according to the invention.

Fig. 1 shows an injection molding machine with mold platens 7, Eilhüben 8, Holmen 6, locking mechanisms 9, pressure mechanisms 10 and an injection unit 11. Schematically illustrated is an operating unit 1 with a touch-sensitive screen 3 and connected to the control unit control or regulating device 4, which itself associated with the above elements of the injection molding machine.
FIG. 2 shows an example of the inventive arrangement of the navigation groups, the operating groups and the passive areas. In this embodiment, an arrangement in lines is selected, but this is not essential, because a column arrangement or a mixed form can be chosen as well. At the top is the status / alarm bar 12. With its help it is possible, for example, to navigate to an alarm page or to a page for user login. Below this follows a passive area, which is designed as an information panel 13, on which various parameters of the injection molding machine 2 and / or automation (for example, handling apparatus) can be represented. Following this, the drive and heating bar 14 can be seen, via which dialogs for controlling various drives and heaters of the injection molding machine 2 can be called. With the function area 17 often required menu items, such as printing and help topics can be achieved. In the work area 18 various sides, such as for setting various parameters of the injection molding machine, can be displayed. Various operating modes for the injection molding machine can be selected via the operating mode bar 19, such as automatic mode, set-up mode or learning mode.
